Welcome to my website. I am going to add many new client pages displaying a variety of studio and location work in a blog style fashion over the coming summer months. I feel that adding personal information on how an assignment takes place, rather than simply publishing a set of portfolios, makes this site a little more interesting and hopefully help people understand a little more about how photography is produced.

My photographic style tends to attract customers from the travel, lifestyle and food sectors. I have always been an out-doors person yet, somehow, I ended up in a darkened London studio for years photographing food. (It's well know in the trade that, "if one can shoot food, he/she can pretty much shoot anything else" as food photography is one of the most demanding and technical subjects to photograph). Although, if you look at my still life photographs you will notice that they symbolize the styling and lighting of an outdoors setting. After years of working in an underground studio I moved out of London to rural Lincolnshire. This attracted more clients which suited my location photographic style. Although I still shoot images in my busy studio, with high end digital cameras, tethered to powermacs for still life, packaging, food and product photography.

A list of my current tourism clients include; The Tourist Boards for the following countries; Wales, Italy, Iceland, Canada, Ethiopia, France and New York State.
I currently work for publishing companies such as; Bower, EMAP, News International, VEM, DHP, Medlar Press and am commissioned on yearly assignments for many international trade and consumer magazines world wide.
My current manufacturing clients include, Hardy Greys, Sonik Sports, Svensen Sports, Leeda, Air Canada, and Virgin.

My personal work includes, stock photography of lifestyle, travel and food. I am also publishing another book. This is entitled "End of an Era". I photographed the working life and soul of Grimsby fish docks in the late 80's before the new health and safety (H&E) regulations came into effect. The new H&E rules resulted in demolishing Grimsby's historic fish docks, to re-build it to new EEC regulations. I produced about 150 framed prints, before this happened, which completely sold out at an "End of an Era" exhibition, which was opened by Austin Mitchell, MP. I am about to select around 90 of my favorite images from this exhibition, for a large monochrome coffee table book which depicted the character of Grimsby fish docks. A lifestyle of a bygone era.
