This is a body of work by Stephen Robert Thornton in his early days before being commissioned to shoot commercial assignments. This project titled ‘FISH TOWN’ was documented in the years leading up to the introduction of new European Union laws in the summer of 1990, which ended a way of life for generations of fishermen, fish dock workers and the community.
