ABOUT
The world’s largest fishing town was built by generations of dedicated fishing families. This close-knit community, which had thrived for over 150 years on fishing, came to an end in the summer of 1990 due to the enforcement of new European Union laws. This book documents the life of the fish dock before 1990 in dramatic black and white photographs.
Many of the images are unpublished, with over 20 of the original contact sheets.
