About the artwork

The Pontoon Walker. School leavers starting early morning work on the fish docks had to pull hundreds of fish boxes from the auction rooms using iron hooked bars to filleting alcoves on the pontoons. Filleters waiting for fish boxes could be on another pontoon over 1000 yards away. ST-27-04. Circa; 1988/89. Print sizes available. 20″ x 16″ or 1/1 Exhibition print 7′ x 5′.
